Alchemical Sisters
In their own words:
Revered worldwide for their love-fueled, technically adventurous all-vinyl b2b DJ sets, Maya Bouldry-Morrison (Octo Octa) and Eris Drew conceived Alchemical Sisters as a vehicle for creating music together. The project was born after a four-day mushroom journey during which they completed a remix for the punk band Special Interest under an impossibly tight deadline—their first experience writing music as a duo.
What emerged was a singular sound: an alchemical fusion of psychedelic chaos, acid rollers, and big beat, channeled through hardware instruments and animated by love, touch, rhythm, and spiritual fire.
Inspired by that first collaboration, they went on to remix Paramida for Love On The Rocks and contributed the original track "Yellow Acid" to Dekmantel's anniversary box set. Eris and Maya then emptied the master bedroom of their New Hampshire cabin, transformed it into a hermetic recording vessel, and assembled all of their instruments in a single room to create their self-titled debut album. Recorded entirely within that improvised studio and mixed by BMG in Detroit, Alchemical Sisters will be released by the legendary Interdimensional Transmissions in Fall 2026.
